The Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Center 蜜柚视频 is among 75 recipients of Library of America grants as part of the library鈥檚 national initiative celebrating Latino poetry.
The initiative, titled 鈥淟atino Poetry: Places We Call Home,鈥 invites participants into a nationwide conversation about Latino poetry.
Each grant of $1,200 will fund the development of at least two free public programs to be held at each grantee鈥檚 institution between September 2024 and April 2025. Inspired by the forthcoming 鈥淟atino Poetry: The Library of America Anthology,鈥 these events will explore the initiative鈥檚 eight core humanities themes and feature poets, scholars, and community leaders.
